All Crimson Trace products are quick and easy to install.  We call them “user-installed” because every product we offer can be installed by you…the owner.  You won’t need to permanently alter your firearm to install Crimson Trace laser sights.  With the exception of specific 1911 models*, you won’t need to make modifications of any type.

Take your time, follow the instructions enclosed with your new Lasergrips®, Laserguard®, Lightguard™, or MVF-515™, and in a few moments your gun will be laser-equipped!  For more detailed, step by step instructions, please see our informative installation videos.

*1911’s with ambidextrous safeties must see a gunsmith for shortening of the right side of their safety for clearance with Lasergrips® - except for Master Series™, which will accommodate ambidextrous safeties.
