  1. Reliable af Review by Timothy

After my positive experience with the Lasergrip that I purchased for my M&P, and letting my wife try it out, she decided that I should get a laser site for her Purple People Popper (Ruger LC9)... So, I did.

I initially had a little trouble with it holding its alignment, but quickly realized that I had not sufficiently secured it to the trigger guard. Once I had it properly attached, it aligned perfectly. Four years and hundreds of rounds later, it is still perfectly aligned. My wife absolutely loves it.

The only issue was finding a concealed carry purse that it would fit in properly (she refuses to carry anything smaller than a 9mm). Once she found the right purse, all was cool.

We will only use Crimson Trace on our guns from now on. (Posted on 1/25/2017)

  2. A Must for NRA Pistol Instructors Review by Soothsayer

Whenever I add a concealed carry firearm, it is either with a Crimson Trace or one is soon added. I use these as a NRA Pistol Instructor to demonstrate the need for this kind of sighting under self defense conditions. (Posted on 12/23/2016)

  3. Great Laser & Service! Review by JohnS3

I purchased an LG-412 for my LC9s. The first day I went to the indoor range to sight it in, I was impressed. The laser is bright and accurate. I had it adjusted really close to zero, but needed to make some fine adjustments at 25 feet. Unfortunately, my wife knocked the wrench off of the shooting table and it landed it the grated floor, never to be found again. The next day, I called Crimson Trace. They are sending me a new wrench set free of charge! What service and also not to mention, it's a great product! (Posted on 12/12/2016)

  4. Doesn't fit LC9S Review by Eric

Doesnt fit right on either the hydrodipped models nor the standard models. Tried on both lowers, and it moves everywhere when its on as tight as it can get. (Posted on 8/29/2016)

  5. Perfect fit Review by David

Easy install. Great product (Posted on 3/23/2016)

  6. Lc9's best accessory Review by Jack

Bought this gun new with the CTC lg-412 installed from Ruger. First battery in this lasted almost 9 months. Mind you that the only reason that one died was due to me having it wedged in my range bag with an item against it. Replaced with the two 357 batteries and only lasted me about 4 months. Definitely performed better and brighter in my opinion with the original 1/3 battery. Other than that this is by far the best laser I have ever owned! Thank you Crimson Trace for making the best product on the market! (Posted on 6/15/2015)

  7. Great product Review by Gary

Like the other reviewers, I love this product. I purchased the Lasermax for one of my guns because of the price but now I want to get another Crimson Trace. The Lasernax is difficult to turn on and in a stressful situation I doubt that I would be able to remember to awkwardly stretch my finger to press the button on the side of the mechanism. On the Crimson Trace it is automatic. Pick up and grip the pistol and the laser comes on. If you don't want it on simply relax the grip slightly. Looks and feels great.

  8. *** The Good Keeps Getting Better! *** Review by John B

Well, as I mention on 3/4/15's posting, I had planned on buying a Crimson Trace for a Ruger LC9s (9mm). After doing further research and evaluations, I decided on the "Ruger LC9s Pro". Let me tell you what, the strikerfire mechanism in the gun is incredible! Quickly running 50 rounds through the gun I immediately suicided in ordering a Crimson Trace for the gun. All things being said, I'm VERY satisfied with the solution and impressed in how the gun and the laser marry to one another. Nice lines and durable usage! If question should arise as to which Crimson Trace model best works with the Ruger LC9S Pro, please note Ruger Customer Support identified Model 412 which also works with the Ruger LC9. Great Solution and Excellent Accessory! (Posted on 3/26/2015)

  9. Will also fit LC9s -- no fumbling for the on switch!!! Review by Hotdang

I bought a Ruger LC9s when they first came out because I loved the easy trigger. Should have bought the laser with the gun but did not want to spend the extra money on a pocket gun that i may or may not carry.. As fate would have it, I was browsing in a gun shop and they had ONE Crimson Trace laser in the gun case and it was for the LC9. I asked if the LG 412 would fit on my LC9s. He test installed it right there in the store . As soon as i took hold of the gun, my middle finger naturally pressed the laser "on" button. Testing point of aim without firing showed laser to be pretty close to the iron sights position. Additional benefit is that the combination still fit in my Tagua holster. Since purchasing my LC9s it has been my constant companion. Same holster will now allow the LC9s Gun/laser combination to be my constant carry companion. So much for a seldom carried pocket gun. 10. *** Amen *** Review by John B

I bought my Ruger LCP .380 as a second hand handgun from a gun range. Testing .380 models from Smith & Wesson and Glock. I found both guns had their own characteristics as well as variances on the range (e.g. different triggers pulls, recoil, weight, sightings, etc, etc). Reviewing the Ruger LCP with a Crimson Trace (CT) I was simple DAZZLED!!! Understanding .380's are smaller guns for both men and women, they tend to be harder to shoot as well as hold onto during usage.... Just the same, I find the Ruger LCP .380 to be the PERFECT pistol for both pocket and ankle applications. Given any defensive encounter is hard enough to deal with both mentally, and physically, I feel confident I can safely retrieve my weapon and get the laser on the target with ease. The concept(s) of laser technology has certainly evolved over the last 25 years but I certainly see the technology as an enhancement. What ever the case, preparing to purchase a Ruger LC9S as my primary weapon, I feel certain I will definitely complement it with a CT upon purchase. Other generalized comments to acknowledge: (1) The battery replacement option is ideal - make certain CT knows the specific battery model to send as a replacement, (2) Customer Support is very friendly, and efficient, (3) Would be nice to have a primary shut off during general target practice, (4) Make sure any holster you purchase is compatible with the CT system, (5) Make sure and tell your friends about the CT brand. We've all have different levels of experiences and word of mouth is the best referral... (Posted on 3/4/2015)

  11. Nice addition Review by Razz

Easy to install. Mine was acurate out of the box. Really like it. (Posted on 2/19/2015)

  12. Quality Product Review by IceMan

At first I was unsure about the price. Once I installed the laser grip on my LC9 and dialed it in at the range I began to appreciate the addition of a laser. I really like the reactive grip. The laser has payed for it self by saving me $$$ in ammo. I did not realize that my hand was shaking until I installed the laser and saw it dancing on the target. With practice I learned to hold the LC9 steady. After practicing a short time using the CT with and without ammo my accuracy using the iron sites has improved to the point that I am almost as good without the laser as I am with it. Thanks CT for an excellent product. (Posted on 1/13/2015)

  13. Fantastic piece of kit Review by Arkansas Mike

Bought a factory installed LG-412 on a Ruger LC380 (Christmas gift for the wife) after many recommendations. Amazing laser and the activation is instant, w/o any fumbling.
I bought a competitors laser for my Taurus PT111 G2 (Crimson Trace does not make a laserguard model for the G2) but... I should have paid a few more bucks for the RailMaster Universal. Lesson learned! (Posted on 1/11/2015)

  14. great product Review by Cody

the LG-412 is the first laser I've owned but it won't be the last. My father has a couple different pistols with CTC grip lasers equipped. I love all of Crimson Trace products. I would like to have the option of having a green dot instead of a red dot. Green seems to be way more visible during daylight hours. (Posted on 10/26/2014)

  15. ruger lc9 Review by Sal

great piece of gear but i guess i am not the only one with its intermittent activation. need to know how i get the yearly battery replacement and also need to know if its a malfunctioning laser

  16. When it works, it's great!!! Review by Justin

I've had my crimson trace on my LC9 for a little over a month and sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't! Very accurate when it is working! Will contact company to see what their thoughts are on why it might be doing this? (Posted on 3/5/2014)

  17. Excellent tool, especially in low light situations. Review by bo_leggs

I never felt vulnerable before an incident a month ago; it was then I decided I needed a little personal protection, so I bought a pair of Ruger LC9s with the CrimsonTrace laser sight on both. Once I got the laser dialed in, I can almost drive tacks with it. It's a great tool for us older guys whose eyes aren't as sharp as they used to be, especially in low light situations. I still shoot using my iron sights, but I know the laser is always there when I need it; best of all, it comes on when I wrap my fingers around the grip. It has actually made me a better shot because it showed me I was letting the end of the barrel drop at the end of the trigger pull. And I like the fact that I can get a fresh battery every year from CT. Quality product, quality support. (Posted on 9/4/2013)

  18. GREAT!! Review by Dan

I have a Ruger LC9 9mm and purchased the LG412. It is so easy to install, If I can do anyone can, it shoots right on the money. It is a great deal, purchased it at Cabela's and I love shooting it, the red dot is accurate as can be, no aim, just point and line up the dot then pull the trigger. Great!! (Posted on 8/24/2013)

  19. Excellent product Review by Rick A.

Put the LG-412 on the Ruger LC380. Simple to install. Puts the round on the money. Had heard red laser sights were hard to see in "daylight" conditions, however even in full sunlight it was pretty easy to see 50+ feet downrange. Seems like a great value for the price. I like it a lot! Will definitely recommend it to friends and family. (Posted on 8/4/2013)

  20. Outstanding Product!!!! Review by pegronleb

Bought it for myself for Christmas and am totally satisfied. Most people I let shoot my Ruger LC9 are very impressed with it and are strongly considering purchasing one for their gun. Easy to install and easy to adjust. I am shooting much better with it too as I realized from using the laser that I was pulling off the target without it. Even my wife who is 60, can put 4 out of 5 in the circle with it. That's good shooting!!!

  21. Outstanding Review by Michael K

I actually purchased this before receiving our LC9. It was simple to install and sight in. Have had it installed for only 300 rounds fired so far, but it has operated perfectly.
The Laserguard fit and finish is awesome and looks like it actually belongs on this pistol.
We will definitely be purchasing from Crimson Trace again...
    Thanks and well done CT!!!

  22. Works great and easy to install Review by Jt

I got this for my Lc9 3 months ago. I highly recommend it for anybody who has a Ruger Lc9. Works perfectly . I got lasers in the past for my glock 19 and beretta px storm but those were big and bulky so now they are just siting in my safe. This will always be on my lc9. I recommend lasers for all ccw pistols. Will get one for my Kahr MK9.
The only thing I wish was a master shut off so I can practice dry fire or to practice my shooting at the range to get better before I practice with the laser. (Posted on 3/17/2013)

  23. So Far Works OK Review by Mark2012

I purchased this already installed on the Ruger LC9. After my first 5 shots the laser stopped working and did not come back on until I shot a few more rounds. I checked the battery and it seemed like it was cocked a little but felt tight against the springs. So far its working OK and was told by the gun dealer if it happens again to bring it in and they would send it back in. Hopefully that does not happen. Overall I am satisfied with how it operates. 25. Great product! Review by MWB

I've had my laser for several months now and one on my wife's LCP for three years and I love them. I recommend this product to everyone. (Posted on 7/23/2012)

  26. Love this LaserGuard Review by Duckkiller870

I got this laser-guard for my lc9 and love it works great since the gun it self does not have the best sights. i love how easy it is to turn it on just grip the gun and its on one less think you have to worry about if i ever have to use it in self defense. And i cant tell any deference in weight in the gun with it installed very light. (Posted on 7/15/2012)

  27. Great product for a great cc gun. Review by Rex

I purchased a crimson trace for my lc9 about 10 minutes after they were available. Incredibly easy to install. Definitely makes the gun more useable and more formidible. I have noticed the lazer point is brighter and more defined than the ones on my lcps. I love it and wish crimson trace would come standard on every concealed carry gun. (Posted on 1/28/2012)

  28. Great For Conceal Carry Review by Shawn

I purchased this laser several months ago. I have been very happy with it. The laser fits the gun with perfection and works well. (Posted on 12/31/2011)

  29. Not very happy! Review by E. Reitz

I purchased my LG-412 in November 2011, it worked great for the first month and then quit working. I changed the battery thinking it might be defective...Sent it back to the CT factory for repair 12-20-2011

Kind of disappointed! (Posted on 12/21/2011)

  30. LG-412 excellence Review by Andrew E.

This is the only thing u will ever need for your Ruger LC9, other than ammo. I carry mr LC9 all day every day with no discomforts at all. This laser gaurd is well built, seemless fit on pistol. A couple shot and it was done sighting in. I will never leave the house without it... (Posted on 12/12/2011)

  31. perfect for pocket pistol protection Review by Jack

I recently purchased the LG-412 for my Ruger LC9. It took less than 15 minutes to install. Then I took it to the range for calibration. It was sighted for 50 feet but I wanted it for 30 feet. It was easy to calibrate and it took less than 30 rounds! The only thing I wish it had was an on off switch for when I'm dry firing but don't want the laser to point. (Posted on 12/10/2011)
