LG-402M laser sights for Beretta 92, 92-A1, 96 and M9 are designed specifically for the demands of military* use. This model exceeds MIL-STD-810F standards for waterproofing, dust/salt/fog resistance and high/low temperature operation. Compared to our standard LG-302 Lasergrips® for Beretta, this model features a more prominent rubber-overmolded front activation switch and aggressive textured side-panels, which are designed for maximum control with or without gloves. Under extreme testing, the LG-402M worked flawlessly under adverse conditions, providing instinctive activation and fast, accurate target acquisition.

  1. PERFECT!!! Review by mweaver0311
    Rating

I read previous reviews on this product and was a little skeptical of buying considering negative reviews about the switch. Despite skepticism I decided to have faith in Crimson Trace and they would fix this issue. I was not let down. Laser is activated with slight pressure (normal pressure when gripping a firearm), I have not had to make any adjustments to sighting (I am not a target shooter, but a defense/recreational shooter). This is the PERFECT product I was looking for and consider this investment well worth the money. (Posted on 3/16/2017)

  2. Awesome Company! Review by Danny - MN

I bought the LG -312 for my Beretta Vertec 96 in June of 2004. I have enjoyed it ever since. Recently, it was not sighted properly and I asked a gunsmith at the range if he had tools to adjust it. He did and made the adjustments. When I got home and started cleaning the gun, I realized one of the screws to the frame was missing. I replaced that and the sights were off again. I call Crimson Trace and they not only sent the tools out for free, they reminded me, they provide batteries for life and sent those also. I had been buying my own.

Great customer service! (Posted on 2/25/2017)

  3. Solution for excess pressure Review by Harris
    Rating

I had the problem of needing excessive force to activate the laser. My solution was to find a piece of semi-rigid plastic about 1/16 inch thick. Cut a rectangle matching the back of the switch. Attach to the back of the switch with a piece of double sided tape. After this modification, the switch required only moderate pressure to activate. Small differences in the shim thickness may be required to get the ideal pressure. (Posted on 2/18/2017)

  4. Lasted 10 years Review by Lonnie

Just replaced my laser grips after 10 years of everyday use, and I am not gentle on my carry weapon. My Baretta 92 FS is carried daily in a Crossbreed IWB holster. For 10 years the grips worked perfectly. No issues.

I am very happy with these grips which is why a bought the exact grips again to replace the old ones when they finally failed.

Only thing that could make them any better would be green laser option. (Posted on 12/10/2016)

  6. LG-402 Fix Review by Joe Caputo
    Rating

I HAVE SEVERAL CRIMSON TRACE LG-302 AND LG-402 LASER GRIPS THAT ARE FANTASTIC APPLICATIONS OF THE RED LASER ON MY BERETTA PISTOLS. I'M FOREVER WAITING FOR CRIMSON TRACE TO OFFER THE 302 AND 402 GRIPS IN GREEN LASER. I HAVE ALWAYS HAD TO FIDGET WITH THE PRECISE POSITIONING OF MY FINGER TO OPERATE THE LASER ESPECIALLY ON THE LG-402 GRIPS. I POSITIONED A BUTTON TYPE ADHESIVE PIECE TO THE BUTTON ON THE 402 AND IT IS MUCH EASIER TO WORK THE LASER. IT WOULD BE GREAT IF CRIMSON TRACE WOULD REMEDY THIS ALL TO OFTEN PROBLEM OF THE LASER NEEDING PRECISE AND FIRM PRESSURE TO WORK THE LASER. (Posted on 9/8/2016)

  7. GRIP Review by RAIDERX
    Rating

I did need to squeeze a little harder with my middle finger to activate the laser..I did buy the mil spec..after plenty of practice I don't even notice it now...almost bought a green one for a different pistol but after considering that the green laser is visible giving away your position I'll be sticking with red... 8. Beretta 92A1 LG-402M Grips Review by Ken

I put the grips on in a few minutes. The laser was on target out of the box. Grips feel good and the button is easy to use every time. (Posted on 3/4/2016)

  9. Great Addition Review by Tom
    Rating

I bought a Kimber Master Carry Ultra that came factory with a set of CT grips, liked them so much I got a set for my 92FS. This is a great product and makes it so very easy to place a round exactly where you want it. As an NRA and State of Tennessee handgun instructor, I would recommend them to anyone. I did not find it too hard to activate the laser on the 402M, but I will say, it does take a firm crip, and could take a little more pressure than the Kimber, but its hard to say. 68 y/o male. 11. Thanks from an old Soldier Review by Bronco
    Rating

On a 92FS Centurion these grips work great... I'm getting older and sites are getting harder to see but the laser dot is crystal clear from the end of the barrel to 50ft. Once adjusted for 50ft with a bore site laser making the dots overlap...rounds hit on dot consistently. Consistent hits on target at 50ft 1st round thru 150th round is pretty easy. Also don't have to raise weapon to line of sight, allowing for better field of view. Thanks CT. (Posted on 1/21/2014)

  12. Is it possible to be too Rugid? Review by John
    Rating

While I love the standard-Spec CT laser grip on my Ruger, this Mil-Spec grip on my Barretta requires you to squeeze HARD to activate the laser. After 100+ rounds your grip gets tired and then it starts to blink-out right at the moment of truth.

I'm also not keen on the fact that entire grip (both left and right) have to be removed to replace the 2 batteries, thereby requiring new sight-in.

  13. Takes too much pressure to active laser Review by Bill
    Rating

I have large hands & my wife much smaller hands, and this laser doesn't activate easily. While taking aim, the laser goes off & on again based on the obvious pressure we apply. I am guessing the non-MILSPEC model laser activation would work with less pressure. My wife & I used Crimson Trace Laserguard on a small Sig and loved how easy the activation worked...so we bought this version and are disappointed in the amount of pressure required to activate the laser. I'll buy Laserguard for my CCWs but won't buy another LG-402M. I'm retired military & a current FFL dealer. (Posted on 11/17/2013)

  15. SUPER ACCURATE Review by Lee - OK
    Rating

I have had this laser sight for a few years now and use it everyday on my CCW. Practice regulary, 100 rounds +, and it makes quick shots, off hand shots, low light shots, shooting from a different or irregular position, or most any shot you want to take super accurate. Just put the red dot where you want the shot to go and that is where it will go. Keeps your eye on the threat and not the sights. Instinctive activation, don't even have to think about it, just draw the gun like I would normaly and the laser is on. Super long battery life, I change them out about once a year just to be sure I wont have a dead battery when I might need it the most but I figure it would last quite longer than that and changing the batteries is very simple and straight forward. Shoots accurate right out of the box. Dont think I would cary a gun without a CT laser sight on it after using this one and being so satisfied with it. (Posted on 2/19/2012)

  16. Great device Review by Eric - PDX
    Rating

Purchased this last year at a local Crimson trace dealer. Used it for 300 plus roundS to date. Where ever you see the red dot, pull the trigger, there is now a 9mm hole from my Beretta. No sighting required from right out of the box. (Posted on 1/27/2012)
