Crimson Trace® presents the MVF-515 Red; a revolutionary, patent-pending concept that combines three tactical tools for your AR style rifle into a single modular package. With a rock-solid 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum hard-anodized tang as the foundation of the foregrip, the unit also features a red laser sight and a 150/200 Lumen-LED light module. The laser and light are instinctively activated as you hold the weapon, and activation switches are ambidextrous. This allows operators to select the light or the laser individually or simultaneously. Both laser and light functions are programmable with three illumination modes to select from including: independent momentary, strobe or constant beam. A master on/off switch permits complete shutdown of either laser or light.

  1. Laser/Light Foregrip Review by Mike retired Portland Police Officer

This is by far the best way to get your laser and light plus provide a grip for your rifle. I'm using them on two ARs, two SCARs, and a Tavor. Had one I could not get to target and lucky for me I live a few miles from Crimson Trace. Took it in and had it fixed in ten minutes and on my way back to the range. Crimson Trace and I go back to when they were a two man shop, downtown Portland, OR. Over 20 years ago they installed lasers into my partner and I Glocks. Then they had to actually gunsmith the laser into your gun. I'm retired now but I still have that Glock and the laser still works. Wouldn't own a carry gun or rifle without one. 3. 3 Tools, 1 Battery, Centralized Weight, No Cords or Switch Mounting?! Perfection Review by Wyatt

Not gonna find a quality light, a quality laser, and a quality foregrip for less money than the MVF-515!

If you DO find light/laser/grip you like, you'll have to find a way to mount it all. It might not be possible to get everything as close together as you would like and even if you do, the light and laser will have separate batteries which could make your AR annoyingly unbalanced. THEN you may or may not have pressure switches OR a comfortable place to mount them!

Crimson Trace took care of ALL of that.
The activation options of constant on, pulse, and strobe are awesome and easy to use. Rugged, dependable, mounts solid!

I love mine! (Posted on 10/26/2013)

  4. Sound Product, Good Value for three pieces of gear in one!! Review by DerekS

Quality construction and is built solid. For the money, it solves the issue of having to purchase a Light, Laser, and Foregrip separately. With everything being all-in-one, it saves space and weight on the rifle. From my operational standpoint, the unit functions seamlessly while I have put the unit through its paces in a limited fashion- at the range (firing outside, banging the unit on the table, on the ground, etc), moving through the house in the pitch black (banging it along corners of walls, banging against doors, etc.) and in the backyard in the daytime (again, outside, banging the unit against objects, on the ground, etc). Again this is a quality construction unit. Great Value!

The only caveat and it’s not Crimson Trace's fault - red lasers do not work the best outdoors in direct sunlight, while green lasers work better, but then again green lasers aren't the best in the cold either- so pick your poison. :-) (Posted on 7/15/2013)

  5. The best lasers of course are crimson trace Review by Mikelindsey@comcast.net

I have 4 of these rail grips, 2 for bull pup guns like my KRISS. It's way to cool to be able to hit the center of the target at around 30-40 yards. During the day. I have the other two on my ARs. BTW I have Crimson Trace lasers on a bunch of hand guns as well going back to the days 20 yrs. ago where they actually built them into your gun, there was no such thing as a do it yourself laser. BTY that 20 yr old laser still works like new. Just an all around good reliable company. There are cheaper ones out there but you get what you pay for (Posted on 4/2/2013)

  6. Great product for the price! Review by CHRISTOPHER

You can go wrong with this purchase!!!! (Posted on 3/10/2013)

  7. Great Add on to AR-15 Review by Addicted

Overall I very good add on to the AR-15. Great light and laser easy to attach and detach. Easy to adjust right to left but a bit of a pain to adjust elevation with AR railings. Had to attach and detach foregrip to get elevation sighted in. Careful with very small Allen wretches and Allen screw if not careful can strip. Still a great product wish both adjustments were accessible from side. Definitly a 4 1/2 star only cuz the elevation adjustment (Posted on 11/17/2012)

  8. Brilliant in more ways than one Review by Euromutt

This may be the single most useful item you can put on an Picatinny rail forend. I'll admit I was little leery of the concept--what if you don't like one of the three elements?--but I became a believer very shortly after installing the MVF on my AR. Aside from it being a comfortable foregrip, the light and laser both work very well, and operation is very intuitive. Moreover, it works perfectly with either hand; useful if you have to switch.

I was a relatively early adopter, so I was a bit miffed when CTC came out with the green version after I'd already bought the red, but with the green laser module now being sold separately, I may well get one of those too. You gotta have options, right? (Posted on 12/31/2011)

  9. Three Pieces of Gear in 1 unit! Review by Robert

It does give great support to the weapon. Aluminum frame and textured grip panels. Bright Light and accurate Laser. Does not add much weight. Would highly recommend to anyone with a home defense or duty weapon. Have been spreading the word to fellow officers and friends. (Posted on 12/28/2011)

  10. Great addition to the AR platform Review by Wolf9210

The MVF-515 is great and durable addition to the my AR. It gives great visibility and support to the weapon. Would highly recommend to anyone with a home defense or duty weapon. (Posted on 12/10/2011)

  11. Three Pieces of Gear in 1 unit!!! Review by Mike S

With so many accessories that can be added to a AR-15 style rifle this is one of the best. Not only does the MVF-515R provide excellent illumination and a Red laser for quick acquisition is also incorporates these features in a fore grip! Easy to manipulate I have mine set up an a Colt 9MM carbine the combination is excellent. These are the types of products that set companies apart. Well Done Crimson Trace! (Posted on 12/10/2011)
