  1. Wish to have one and disappointed. Review by Islandexpress

I own two CT Lasergrips for my 9 and 45. I wish they had not discontinued the grip for this mighty mouse (With rapid fire.). Wish it was not so!! (Posted on 10/18/2018)

  2. Awesome Customer Service! Review by Frankie

I purchased a used Beretta Tomcat 3032 with factory Crimson Trace Laser Grips (LG-490) in show room condition a few days ago... While carefully inspecting the Laser Grips I noticed that the "CTC Supplied Screw" was missing... I contacted Crimson Trace by phone and spoke to Kristen... I explained to her my situation and asked her if I could purchase a replacement screw for the grips... She took my name and address without any hesitation and told me that it would be in the mail... When I asked her how much, so that I could pay with my credit card, she stated that there was "No Charge" and that she was more than happy to assist me... In my book, this is "Awesome Customer Service"... Kristen is an EXCELLENT customer service rep. and most definitely an asset to Crimson Trace... Stay safe... Frankie (Posted on 6/3/2016)

  3. Excellent, perfect laser sight for this pistol Review by Blade

I honestly don't know where the negative reviews come from. I've had these grips on a 21A Inox for two years now without complaint. I have fairly large hands and have no issue with activation, and when I let ladies and other men with smaller hands shoot the pistol there are no difficulties (granted, after a minute of general training on how it is activated). Anyway, I am preparing to buy a second one for another 21A, and will do so without hesitation.

  4. Tomcat Laser Grip Works Great Review by G31L

Purchased CT LG for Tomcat 7 or 8 years ago. Carry a lot, shoot a little. First set of batteries just died. Good fit and finish. Easy install. Activation works great for medium hands. Fun to shoot plate rack at night with laser equipped. (Posted on 4/30/2016)

  5. Great Product, above expectations. Review by treid002

My wife has trouble with slides on pistols so we got the Beretta 21A because of the tip up barrel. The sights leave a lot to be desired but the Crimson Trace LG-490 made it very easy to shoot and hit the target just where it was aimed. making the adjustments was simple and she shot over 100 rounds with great scores. This product cost a lot but the results was worth the price. 5 STARS from us. (Posted on 1/16/2016)

  6. Very poor service, so I didn't even buy ! Review by Salt flats

I read the other review, before I was placing an order, saw they where not favorable on the product, so I read the mission statement on the company home page. I sent a email asking for someone to contact me to help answer some questions, have there been any updates, is the a return policy if I am unhappy. After 10 with no one contacting me, I called them. They asked if they could have customer service person call me back. About 15 minutes later someone did, she lacked any knowledge of the product, hadn't reviewed the concerns posted on there own web-site and had NO way to help me. I am disappointed as I have there laser sights on my model 92 Beretta. I am always wondering how companies survive when they have a product that doesn't measure up, and lack of trained employees to handle the situation. I will look elsewhere.. (Posted on 12/15/2015)

  7. Worthless laser b/c I can't activate the switch w/ a normal grip Review by Sgt Pylestein

This was my fourth crimson trace laser, and I expect it to be my last. The switch size and location make it impossible for me to activate, even though I'm luckily unencumbered by age or disability. I got fooled by crimson trace when I bought this junk, so shame on me if I give them another chance to do it again. I need a laser for a Sig P229 w/o rail, and crimson trace is really the only choice, but I'd rather go without than buy from them again. Thanks for $300 worth of junk crimson trace! 8. Couldn't activate Review by jimafm

I tried one of these on my Tomcat without any success. There is no use for something claiming to improve your accuracy if you can't find the switch to turn it on.

I notice this is a universal complaint. You would think CT would do something to fix it. (Posted on 6/15/2015)

  9. Good to Great!!! Review by Steve

I've had these grips for over 10 years now and absolutely love them. They turned my Tomcat from a "Good" to a "Great" gun! I can't figure out what the others are talking about the switch? Next to instant target acquisition, the switch is my favorite feature! I can easily shoot with or without the laser on! The grips also greatly improve the feel of the gun. I purchased a leather holster that fit the Tomcat without the grips, and after the install, it no longer fit. Having done leather work years before, this was no problem for me. All you have to do is soak the holster in warm water till thoroughly saturated, place it in a zip lock Baggie for two hours. After that, wrap your gun in Saran Wrap and force it into the holster. Then press and mold the holster to fit. Be sure to pull on the keeper strap to stretch it till the snap works. Leave it till thoroughly dry. You may have to stretch it slightly after dry, and you may want to polish the holster with some neutral shoe polish. (Posted on 5/28/2015)

  10. Will not operate as you are used to Review by Snowdogg

I have several CT products on several brands of guns and I am extremely happy with all of them. As far as I am concerned CT is the Mercedes of lasers and their operation is flawless.

EXCEPT FOR THIS ONE on my Tomcat. Placement of the activation button is flawed. I am used to using the 3rd finger to activate where on this model it is your fourth finger. That finger does not apply the pressure needed on the tiny "nub," on a tiny handle in the first place to get the laser to light up. You would think CT would have tested this out and improved the product before it's release. And it is not inexpensive so one would expect better.

I have written CT complaining and asking for ideas to make this thing work but I have been met with silence. Glad they replace batteries better than they listen to suggestions to improve flawed products. Don't buy this model. Wish I had read the reviews before I did. (Posted on 12/3/2014)

  11. design flaws Review by john

First the activation is hard to activate where it is located, Instead it should have been located a little higher to be activated with the middle finger rather than the ring finger...also with the pistol in an in the waistband Uncle Mikes Holster size 36 the activation light will often self activate running you batteries down really fast. Additionally, because the Beret Model 21A is so small, for a "right handed shooter" the light bulb should have been on the left side of the pistol because if you have big fingers or are wearing gloves it is very easy to cover the light....... Would appreciate a replace if Crimson adopts these ideas :-) (Posted on 11/5/2014)

  12. Can not activate Bobcat LG-490 laser Review by AlWen1TCH

Just wasted $200.00 on your LG-490 laser. I should have read the reviews. I hope others read this one. I put your laser on my dad's Judge. He is in his 80 and was having trouble seeing open sights. It worked great and he loved it. So when my wife was having trouble seeing the micro sights on her new Bocat, I thought of your laser sight as the fix. The truth is, they are way too hard to use. Neither one of us can find the activator. By the time you would get it turn on you would be dead. I guess the gun is too small for this type of laser. If anyone wants one I have this one for sell. 13. worked when chips were down Review by tomcat

I carry a Tomcat and my wife carries an Inox, both with Crimson trace Lasers.

During a recent home invasion at my home, I apprecaited the sight more than you can imagine. I am currently installing this product on my 1911 and a Walther PPK/S for my wife. We will still carry the 32's as CCW as soon as they are returned to us, but feel that a larger caliber is needed at home.

This is a product you can trust your life on. Dont leave home without it. (Posted on 8/30/2014)

  14. Want a laser for the INOX Review by Navy_Flyer

Will there be a grip that fits the Stainless INOX .32 Tomcat? I really, really want one! The INOX solved the issue of cracked frames on the original Tomcat, so probably many more now need/want a laser! (Posted on 12/19/2013)

  15. Nice laser, bad switch location. Review by rockinrobin

I'm in total agreement with SLUFDriver, this could be the perfect laser if the switch were moved. The button is right where the joint on my finger is. Nice grips but laser useless for my hands. (Posted on 11/24/2013)

  16. Excellent! Review by WGRS

Just finished installing one of these on a .25ACP for a lady customer who is, like myself, "of a certain age". At 7 yards, the iron sights ( front machined on barrel; rear a groove in the slide) become a blur, even with corrective lens. With this laser grip installed, I was getting 3 shot groups of about 1.5" from the hip, securely anchored with both hands, and taking my time. It changes the whole dynamic of this line of pistols and elevates them from a "maybe" to a valid carry option. My customer, who has little experience with pocket autos, was getting 4" @ 7 Yds. from the start, and bought another box of PMC fodder for practice. She was delighted. I'm ordering one for my S&W Bodyguard carry pistol. You sold me! (Posted on 5/10/2013)

  17. Placement of Switch Issue on Tomcat Review by SLUFDriver

I have rather large hands, and just where the activation switch falls, it is nearly imposable for me to easily turn the designator on. I own 4 other Crimson Trace products for various handguns, and this is the only one with this or any other problem. I suggested moving the switch to the LH grip pad, but was told that this is not going to happen. I eventually used an epoxy resin to try to build up the switch with somewhat limited success. Considering the circumstance that this item is most likely to be needed, groping about for the 'on' switch is not a good scenario. Rather disappointed I must say.

  18. We want this for stainless steel tomcat. Review by Wild Bill 55

I do not know how many stainless steel 32 cal. Tom Cats are out there in the hands of law abiding people like myself. I feel sure there are enough out there who want a Crimson Trace Lasergrip to justify the investment in tooling up to provide this for your future costomers. Please we are waiting. I dont want to have to buy an inferior subistute! (Posted on 5/14/2012)

  19. Great Product Review by Jim

Bought 2 .1for wife & 1for self.had them forthree years .The more we
use them the more we like them. They make these small pistols easy
to hit a small target with at a reasonable distance ,30 to 50 feet. (Posted on 3/28/2012)

  20. Slick Laser Grip Review by Mike B

Bought this via eBay and LOVE it. Easy to install, Close to perfect accuracy out of the box. Makes the pistol a little wider, so I had to modify the pistol case that came with the Tomcat. But on the positive side, the extra width improved the comfort of firing the gun. Follow the instruction carefully when installing the grip on the safety side to be sure you don't disable the safety lever. Overall a great buy. (Posted on 12/20/2011)
