Crimson Trace Offers Many Advantages

June 15, 2017

Wilsonville, OR

Crimson Trace®, America’s top brand of laser sights, offers consumers many advantages when compared to other laser sights and lighting products in the firearms accessory market. One key advantage is that the company’s 260-plus laser sights and lights fit a large number of firearms compared with the limited number of laser sights that other manufacturers provide. From there, the Crimson Trace advantages continue.

No Special Tools Required

Crimson Trace products do not require special spacers or the purchase of special tools for proper installation. Common hex wrenches are the only tools required, and they are included FREE with Crimson Trace products. Certain products, such as the LiNQ™ wireless activated laser sight and light system, even include FREE, full-size standard  wrenches. By including hex wrenches, Crimson Trace products allow the firearm owner to easily install the laser sights and make any desired adjustments after installation. Some laser sight manufacturers only offer the required wrenches as an item for sale on their website.

Easy Instructions

An easy-to-follow owner’s guide is included in the packaging with each Crimson Trace laser sight or light, making installation a smooth process. All owner’s guides are also available FREE on the company’s website—www.crimsontrace.com.

Easy Installation

Crimson Trace products are designed for easy installation without firearm disassembly. Some laser sight manufacturers require complex handgun disassembly, followed by the installation of additional internal parts to the firearm before the laser sight can be installed and operated.

Secure Attachment and Precision Placement

Many Crimson Trace products are securely attached to the firearm’s accessory rails with sturdy metal brackets and the company’s proprietary Secure LockTM Technology.  Some competitor’s products only snap into place. While laser sights with Crimson Trace Secure Lock Technology are easy to install, the laser sights are also easy to remove and transfer to another firearm. This system allows the owner to place the laser sight on the rail exactly where he or she desires in order to ensure optimal finger reach. Laser sight products designed by some manufacturers must be attached at one specific location.

Factory Inspection

All Crimson Trace products are inspected multiple times and then sighted in at 50 feet before being shipped from the factory. Some laser sight manufacturers sight their products at a close 10-foot distance.

Batteries Included

Crimson Trace provides batteries with all laser sights and lights shipped from the warehouse, and nearly all products are covered under the company’s popular Free Batteries for Life Program. Some manufacturers charge from $5 to $65 for batteries. Crimson Trace products are also designed to operate 2 to 4 hours on the supplied batteries while other manufacturer’s laser sights will only operate one hour on a set of batteries.

Holster Choices

Crimson Trace offers more than 50 different holsters designed to fit a wide range of firearms with laser sights installed.  The company’s FREE online holster resource guide (http://www.holsterresourceguide.com) provides details on more than 3,300 holsters to fit a wide assortment of firearms. Some laser sight manufacturers offer fewer than five holster options.

Widely Available at Retail

Crimson Trace laser sight and light products are available at more than 2,500-plus dealers—including ranges and guns shops—across America. Many of these retail outlets also have special point-of-purchase displays that help shoppers learn more about laser sights and how they fit onto firearms.

The company’s full line of products—and the details of the product to firearm fit—can be found 24/7 in the company’s online store at http://www.crimsontrace.com and can be obtained by calling 800-442-2406.
