Right price & good fit Review by TomS
I was looking for a larger grip for my 637 Smith, OEM grip only gave 2 finger hold & this grip adds enough product to gain the 3rd finger on grip. Not real happy with the hard plastic panels but they are checkered aggressively enough to hold on to. Laser is bright & easy to see & the on/off switch is better than the momentary contact on the other Laser-grips that I handled. Fit/installation was just fine. Overall I am happy as the under $100 price made this more attractive. (Posted on 2/27/16)
Poor manufacturing Review by DJS0588
I have a s&w model 36 round butt. I tried to assemble the butt ran into problems. First, was the fact that there was a raised line of plastic on a part of both halves. Imagine you have small ridge where the mold used too much pressure, causing it to sink too far into the grip. The outside looks fine, but the halves will not unite without leaving gaps between them. you also have to include that these ridges are not complete. When I tried to install them, about 50% meet but the other 50% are separated by a gap equal to ~1/16".
Second, after carefully sanding down both sides, with ridges, to make them flat, the halves will not line up correctly. I can put the frame into either half, separately, but they will not meet when I try to install then, thus, preventing me from actually being able to install them.
Third, and last is the battery sockets. These will not hold the batteries flat on, or off, the frame.
Quite a dissapointment (Posted on 11/19/15)
Excellent for the price Review by Rock
I use this on my S&W model 60, a must for a two inch barrel, works great night or day and shoots to the point of aim. This laser is very easy to dial in and the grip shape gives me a better purchace when shooting magnum loads. (Posted on 6/25/15)

Poor quality & customer service Review by NavyDad89
Purchased DS-124 and installed on Taurus DAO 85. The activation button fell out during installation of batteries and twice while gun in pocket holster storage. I can not see it staying in place if weapon is fired. Replaced with Hogue Monogrip and contacted Crimson Trace for advice 10 days ago but have had no response to email or phone contact info that I provided them. Lesson learned. (Posted on 8/4/14)
on/off switch best idea Review by adjaw
We have 2 crimson traces one on a S@W J-Frame nand one on a Ruger LCP.
The LCP does not have a manual on/off switch and I find it irritating when one is handling or cleaning the gun for the laser to operate.

Love the thumb switch Review by oops
Tried them on a Taurus #605 357 mag. they are hard plastic but that did not matter. Ability to turn the laser on and off with my thumb is simple, effective, and the greatest idea for a wheel gun. I love this C/T but hated the Taurus of which the cylinder locked up and went back to the factory twice. I wish they would make the Defender Series for working revolvers, starting with the Ruger SP 101. (Posted on 5/17/14)
