Excellent
After getting a Crimson Trace LaserGuard for my LCP I just had to have one for my XD-9 SubCompact. I was concerned about the fit because of the short barrel so I called crimson trace and was assured it would fit. It fit perfectly and just as easily as the CT laser on my LCP. Wow! I could not be happier. My friend watched me shoot out the center of my target and said " you could probably write your name with bullet holes". So I took out the ring numbers on the target. He had me buy a CT laser for his KelTec and now he's very happy too.

Great Product
I recieved this laser sight as a gift from my uncle when I purchased my xd subcompact .40. Upon taking it out of the box i was excited. The laser looks great and feels great! It snapped right on to my xd and 3 small screws and 10 min later it was snug tight!! It works really well.
The only thing I do not like about using the laser, has nothing to do with Crimson Trace, but that there are only a few holsters that will hold the xd with this laser installed. I love my blackhawk concealed carry holster and hate to give it up to use my laser. I wish blackhawk would make an accomodating holster.

Excellent!
Had tried a competitive product that mounts on the rear sights, and took it off (want to buy it from me cheap? lol). Purchased this and could not have been more pleased. Installed very easy (surprizingly actually). So far, factory aim set at 50' worked as advertised. Had to get a new holster, of course, but got that as well and am extremely happy. Managed to talk my wife into one for my Sig P238 for Christmas!

Won't Leave Home Without It
Easy installation, Great feel, increased my accuracy. I've even plucked a couple of varmits (Oppossum and Raccoon) from under my bird feeder with it. Loved my XD(M) before - with the LG-448 - Love it even more.

Just the BEST!!
Where to start? Design: just brilliant! The placement under the trigger guard enables truly instinctive control of the light. Slight natural grip pressure using the middle finger, paints the target only when needed to make a shot. The original gun thickness is preserved.
Installation: 10 minutes from a sealed box to checking sight alignment!
Reliability: Mine spent a day in my dogs water bowl in the car! (Don't ask!). A quick wipe, dry with heater vents in the car, and it worked like new! I've fired about 300 rounds with this sight, and no adjustments have been necessary. I carry concealed daily, and the sight is always mounted on the gun (XD(m) 3.8 compact 40).
I did have to get a new holster that could accommodate the new shape caused by the laser. Dragon made one that works perfectly. It is both an IWB/OWB tuckable rig. I also got a vehicle holster.
My Crimson Trace goes everywhere!

Love it!
Installed in minutes on my XD40SC. Actually like it better than the Lasergrips model because I can keep my grip thin. Nice job Crimson Trace.....another sweet product.
