Amazing Review by Hank
My wife got one for my 686,I loved it so much I bought her one for her lady smith. I'm 54 now, eyes are a little weak, need glasses for iron sights. I can use the laser and be dead on target without glasses. It's on my bedroom gun, I'm betting my life on it. (Posted on 5/18/14)
Great Product (lg-307) Review by Tucker
Got my grips the other day and after a few minor ajustments, shot like a dream I'm 64 years old and all the guess work is over. Mounted to a S&W Combat 19 W/ 6" barrel in .357 mag. It's like a new set of eyes. On a Std. 25yd pistol target using a 6 oclock hold all shots are in the 10 ring. Now make one for a Safari Arms Enforcer and you will make another sale W.D. Surprisingly Great Product Review by Daveymac
When first shopping for a laser, I really hesitated at the cost, but did a lot of research, and finally made the investment. All I can say is, WOW! The grips feel better than my original ones. Very good quality of materials and manufacturing.
An LE friend advised me against lasers because "it will slow you down." NOT SO with the CT momentary activation! It speeds up my target acquisition in all but bright daylight (beyond close quarters). So, keep up your practice with iron sights.
With the front activation, I can have a firm grip on the weapon without activating the laser until I locate my target and am ready to engage, not revealing my position until I'm ready. I'll never use a laser without the momentary activation. It has made my dry-fire practice much more effective, and greatly increased my confidence. The DVD that came with it was very helpful.
I am surprised at the efficiency of the electronics and life of the batteries. After four years of regular dry-fire and live-fire practice, I changed the batteries "just in case" my life depended on them. They were still going strong.
I am also amazed at how accurate it remains even after banging it around, and removing the grips for cleaning. I have hardly ever had to readjust it in these four years.
I liked it so well, I've bought three more since.
Well done, Crimson Trace. (Posted on 12/10/11)
