Greatest thing since sliced bread!
I am absolutely sold on this laser sight. It hits where it points, everytime.... I can't imagine an intruder who sees this sight on him who will NOT turn and run. It has to be the greatest intimidator of all time.....Now where is the GREEN one so I can see it in bright light?

Wish it came in the large backstrap size
Very good funtionally. I shoot much better with the factory large backstrap. Haven't adapted to the medium size. If I grip the gun normally, my index finger contacts the trigger between the first and second joint. When I transition from indexing on the side of the frame to inside the trigger guard, the trigger guard is in the way for a smooth transtion. If I roll my hand in for trigger finger alignment, trigger control suffers. I'm 5'8" with average size hands and fingers. I can't imagine how the big guys manage. I would have been much happier if this product was available in the large size.

I HAVE A M&P 40CAL
THE GRIP SIGHTS WERE 1,2,3, TO INSTALL AND EASY TO ZERO IN LOVE THEM AND THE FREE LIFETIME BATTERIES IS GREAT.
i AM SAVEING UP FOR BY NEXT SET OF SIGHTS FOR MY S&W 910.

User-friendly in every way
Easy to install, easy to use, goes through batteries very slowly, and was zeroed perfectly out of the box. There's almost nothing not to like about these grips, and I have them on both my full-size M&P (my "nightstand gun") and my Compact M&P (my carry weapon). The only quibble, and it's a minor one, is that if you're left-handed (as I am), it's next to impossible to find an IWB holster you can use, because the sweat guard interferes with the laser housing.

Year on duty and going strong!
I have had the Crimson Trace LG-660 on my M&P duty weapon for a year now. Rain or shine, hot or cold. It works and no matter hard I knock it around it keeps on ticking!
The 660 is slightly larger than the "medium" M&P grip panel, but smaller than the "large." I like the medium grip, but I have quickly adapted to the size of the 660.
The LG-660 is easily strippled (textured) by a gunsmith (This would probably void the warranty) If that is your preference. I had this done to mine before I even installed it.
So far battery life is awesome, I used the original batteries for a year and changed them recently just in case.
One thing I have learned using the lasergrip is that you can place your finger along the slide if you want the laser to be covered up (without shifting your grip and turning it off) or put your finger at the ready along the frame to have the laser pointing at the target. I could go on about how fast I can get hits on target, but for the virtues of lasers in general see the videos that CT has made.

Awesome
If I could afford it they would be on all my hand guns
You don have to think about anything, you grab your gun the laser comes on.

It covers the serial number.
Great product if you are not color blind, I had trouble seeing it outdoors in daylight.
