The LG-451 Laserguard® is a 1911 pistol green laser sight that is designed to fit seamlessly on the trigger guard of most Full-Size and Compact Kimber, Ruger, and Smith & Wesson (E-Series) 1911 pistols. The LG-451 takes the unmatched low-light defensive capabilities of red laser sights to a new level. The human eye picks up the color green more than any other color and Crimson Trace provides the brightest green laser available, making the LG-451 a versatile laser sighting system for all lighting conditions.
With over two hours of run time on a single (1) CR2 lithium battery, never before has the green laser sight market seen such incredible battery life. Additionally, the LG-451 Laserguard platform is the most lightweight and compact green laser sight available for 1911 pistols. The Laserguard is easily user-installed in minutes without gunsmithing or alterations to the firearm.
In addition to the bright green laser, excellent battery life, and compact design, the LG-451 features windage and elevation adjustments (completed with provided wrenches), and a Master On/Off switch that allows the operator to completely power down the laser sight.
As with all Crimson Trace Laserguard models, the LG-451 features Instinctive Activation™ - a patented Crimson Trace exclusive. Instinctive Activation allows the user to activate the laser by simply holding the firearm with a normal shooting grip. No other manufacturer can claim that. No one else builds them close.

Won't fit my Ruger SR1911 Full Size Review by Dissatisfied from Albany
I found the LG-451 on the CT webiste a few months ago (early 2013) and loved the concept. Green is superior and I liked how it would fit the triggerguard. At that time, the CT webiste was silent about it fitting a Ruger SR1911. I called CT and the only one I could talk to was a young girl who cold only recite what was on the webpage. I called Ruger and they said that if it is advertised as fitting a Kimber and S&W 1911 then it shold also fit the Ruger. My local gunshop hadn't seen this one yet. When I showed it to the owner and said I wanted one but was concerned abut proper fit, he agreed to order it and if it didn't fit he'd keep it for stock. When it came in, the gunshop couldn't get it to properly fit my Ruger SR1911 Full Size. Keepng their word, the gunshop held it for inventory and I wasn't out any money. Fast forward to July 20013, I see that the CT website now advertises that it will fit Ruger 1911 Full Size and Commander models. I called CT to ask if they made any changes. They say they test fitted it and it works. Feeling happy as a clam I'm off to my local gunshop to have them order me what I belive to be an updated version. I explain how CT now says it fits and not wanting them to get stuck with another pricey laser in inventory (the first one is still on their shelf), we decide they will call CT to make sure. I listen while dealer call CT. Same girl answers. Dealer explains situation. Girl says there have been no changes to the model but they are now advertising that it will fit a Ruger. Dealer and I decide not to order since CT says it will ship same thing they shipped before. Remember, it didn't fit then and we doubt it will fit now. We would love to hear if any customers actually got it to fit a Ruger SR1911 Full Size. (Posted on 7/16/13)
Fabulous Product! Review by Troy
I absolutely love this product! It is so much easier to see than the red laser. Since I work at a gun store I also use this green laser (mounted on my Kimber compact 1911) as a selling tool for my customers. They are always amazed at how much brighter the green laser appears when compared to the red lasers. CT has always done a fantastic job with their " Instinctive Activation" on the lasers, which is also a great selling tool. I can't count how many red and green lasers I have sold to my customers based on that one feature alone.
Keep up the good work CT!!! (Posted on 2/14/13)
