  1. Works great just as advertised Review by Glocker62p

This is one of many CTC lasers I own and as usual I couldn't be happier with its performance. I bought it originally for my Gen4 19 and it worked fine but I really wanted a grip mounted unit. When an overmold design for the Gen4 19 came out I bought it and put the LG-436 on my Gen4 20: perfect fit and held zero as expected. Later, my daughter needed something to help her in dim light (she has an eye condition with a name too long to put here) so it went onto her Gen3 19. Again, perfect fit and holds zero as expected. Although not listed for the Gen4 20, I plan on getting another LG-436 to mount on it. (Posted on 11/9/14)

  2. VERY happy customer Review by Road Man

I have an LG-436 on my Glock 26 Gen4 with no additional backstrap. I am extremely satisfied. A couple of months after installing it I started to have some rust on the screws that hold the two halves together. One simple phone call to Crimson Trace and they sent me out a kit with 4 replacement screws, a new battery, a couple of wrenches, and some cleaning wands. Problem solved, no rust on the replacement screws in over a year. I carry in a Crossbreed holster and the gun is easy to conceal. Batteries for life is a great thing too. A couple of weeks ago I had a chance to shoot steel plates at my club in the late afternoon thru dusk. Most of the other shooters were amazed at how easy it was to see the dot on the plates. I got LOTS of questions. (Posted on 10/18/14)

  3. Exactly as advertized Review by Erich Walker

Saw a few negative reviews on here, had to put in my 2 cents. For what it's worth, I have this on both of my G19's. Yes, it's plastic. It'll handle recoil just fine, but don't slam it on anything. It's not as robust as the rest of the weapon. If you need that kind of ruggedness, the only option is a guide-rod laser (internal laser). Yes, once you put this on, you'll need a CT-compatible holster, but that's true with any rail-mounted hardware. Also, the activation switch on the laser is on the front of the grip, exactly as shown, so if you grab it in a rush, the laser is probably going to be on. That's why it's called intuitive activation. You don't have to think about it. If you don't want it on, you're going to have to be purposeful about not pushing the button. I prefer this arrangement over other rail-mounted options, because if I panic, I don't want to think about how to turn the laser on. I also like the fact that the laser is full-forward, not rear mounted, which makes it impossible to block when your trigger finger is in the ready position, where it should be, until you decide to fire. I'm a vet, I've used several lasers (LM, SF), and I couldn't be happier with Crimson Trace. Like I said, I have it on both of my G19's. (Posted on 12/30/13)

  4. Awesome. Deadly Accurate! Review by GrauGlock

Excellent tool to assist you in shooting. Will tear up a B27 target at 25 yards all day long. Other than lack of holster selection, prefer over the laser grip. (Posted on 12/14/13)

  5. Excellent for handicapped shooters Review by Dan

I am a combat disabled Marine in a wheelchair and my CCW is a Glock 36, gen 3. I like the fact that the recoil from the .45ACP does not affect the alignment of the laser after many rounds. And when it does get a little off, it is SO easy to adjust with the included allen wrenches. I usually shoot at 25 yards (75 feet) and had to make a small adjustment from the factory setting, and shot over 500 rounds before the laser needed to be adjusted, and then the adjustment was very minor. I have purchased 2 more of these for my other Glocks. I am very satisified with the laser sight and Crimson Trace Support !!! (Posted on 5/25/13)

  6. Love it !!! Review by Rick

Nice solid unit. Easy to install and sight in. Can't think of anything I would want to change on this. (Posted on 2/26/13)

  7. Excellent Product Review by Scott

I have to say the Crimson Trace Laser Guard is excellent. I bought it for my Ruger LC9. It looked nice on the gun. Unfortunately, I did not like the gun (trigger pull was awful and too many misfires). The Laser Guard is adjustable for range. I like the fact that there is a pressure switch on the grip. Easy to use and is excellent for a self defense situation. I will be ordering one for my new carry gun a Glock G27 Gen 4. (Posted on 2/15/13)

  8. LG-436 is GREAT! Review by Sunshine

I don't understand how anyone could give this less than a 5-star review.
Fits my G26 like a fitted glove, doesn't change my grip, doesn't have any wiggle at all. How much more could you ask from a laser ? (Posted on 12/30/12)

  9. Lack of holsters that will accomodate make poor choice for Glock 36. Review by AZ CCW Glock 36

I love my Glock 36 and have been CC for years. My wife gave me this LaserGuard for my Glock 36 last year, but I have been unable to find holsters that will accomodate the LaserGuard. I have a SERPA holster that I love due to it's secure retention and I have a JackAss shoulder rig I wear when I am driving a lot, but neither offer options to accomodate the LaserGuard. I hope Crimson Trace will soon offer a LaserGrip that fits the Glock 36 but for now my LaserGuard is going to the pawn shop. (Posted on 11/23/12)

  10. Couldn't wait to take it off. Review by Big Mike

I usually don't post reviews, but just had to warn anyone from making the mistake of spending this much money. First, the price is way too high. It's a cheap laser, plastic housing, and a pressure switch. What a ripoff. Second, it completely ruined my grip. It's hard enough to grip a subcompact. This thing threw me odd completely. Third, there's a reason you do not put the activation switch on the grip. I want to be able to not alert an intruder of my location which means I have to use the Master On/Off switch while my grip is obstructed by the pressure switch. To top it off the thing is ugly. Got myself a cheaper Lasermax and ditched the Crimson Trace. Much more comfortable to shoot now. (Posted on 2/26/12)

  11. Great Product Review by Dragonheart

This is my second CT Laserguard purchase, see my first review for my Sig P-238 to get the whole story. Obviously I like the Laserguard a lot or I would not have bought a second one for my Generation 2 Glock 19 . CT says this this laser is for the Gen 3 Glocks, but it fits the Gen 2 just fine. The activation switch just lays flat against the straight grip under the third finger and is not in the finger groove as on the Gen 3 grips.

The Laserguard Pros are: light weight, adds little bulk and that is under the barrel so it goes unnoticed, natural front activation under the third finger turns on laser as long as there is pressure on the switch, bright red laser easily visible at night and in overcast daylight, holds it's zero, fast target acquisition and a great training/practice tool without firing a shot,

The Cons are: red dot hard to see with bright sunlight on target, requires special holsters to accommodate the laser, only offered for a very limited number of handguns. (Posted on 2/25/12)

  12. Repairs Review by John

Had to have my laser sight worked on & at no cost they fixed it & I'am extremely satified. Wouldn't buy anything else. Class A product. JC (Posted on 2/14/12)

  13. Great Training Aid Review by Rich

Got my Laserguard for my G27 and one for my wife's G26. Love it! It has greatly helped me reduce my "aim shake" in training. (Posted on 12/19/11)

  14. Works Great, No Surprise Review by RiverRat Mike

I have been using Crimson Trace aimers for years now (my last three pistols) so I just sort of automatically got a Laserguard for my new Glock 23 Gen 4. It didn't break my bank, it fit my existing holster and with the 23 round mag this gun really takes care of business. (Posted on 12/18/11)

  15. Bought this for my G27 Review by Greg

It s a great Laser and the best I've tried so far.

When they come out (soon) with the Glock Laser Grips I'll be getting one of those for my G34 and G17.

  16. Outstanding product, Can't go wrong! Review by CJ

I purchased the LG-436 for my Glock 19 Gen 4 about a month ago, very easy to install, easy to sight in, and free batteries for life. The laser clamps around the trigger guard, and once the screws go in, it's not budging. I love mine, and recommend CT Laserguards/Lasergrips to everyone.

Before I purchased mine, I read that a lot of people weren't happy with it because of a "slim" selection on holster options. This is simply not true, there are plenty of manufacturers that are producing IWB/OWB holsters for handguns equipped with CT Laserguards. I went with te Crossbreed supertuck deluxe and love it. 17. LG-436 Easy to install and sight in. Review by forfet

Just got my LG-436 and put it on my Glock 27 yesterday and this is definitely the easiest laser sight to install and sight in I have ever seen. The activate button is just in the right place to instinctively turn on every time you draw and grip. Great product ! (Posted on 12/11/11)

  18. Very good laser Review by Unclevania

I have this laserguard on my Glock 27. I chose it over the lasergrip so as to keep the G27 as thin as possible. This laserguard has a master on/off button the side, which helps save batteries if you are shooting in bright daylight. Just don't forget to turn it back on before leaving the range! Overall, it's a great product and I love the fact that it helps with dry-fire practice by giving you an instant read on whether or not you are jerking or anticipating at the moment the trigger breaks. (Posted on 12/11/11)

  19. Love this on my Glock 36 Review by Ron

I have one of these on my Glock 36 and I carry it in my Crossbreed Snapslide belt holster. I have used this combo for about a year and it is very comfortable and the laser is never out of line with the sights. At the range the laser has improved my sight and hit group greatly.
