REVIEWS OF THIS PRODUCT

Works great, best price out there.
Got mine for a Springfield XD 45. Easy to sight in. I hammered it. No issues. Easy on activation. It turns off automatically. I have not tried it on my AR. Will do that next. I’ll be buying several more of these.

looks & fits great
Just got this puppy and put it on my new Beretta Px4 fullsize 9mm. It installs easily, looks great, the on/off switch is right there to bump on as my finger comes around to greet the trigger.
It is quite bright and I easily adjusted the dot to the iron sights so now I just have to go to the range to do the final adjustments.
This is my first laser and i chose CT because of recommendations from friends that have several different CT lasers (both grips and guards) and say they can't be beat.
The CMR-201 also fit nicely on my Stag AR-15 on it's small front under rail. So at it's small size, small price, and CT quality, I'll probably put one on it too.

Another Quality Laser From Crimson Trace
I am an NRA Instructor. I received my CMR-201 via UPS last week. Unfortunately, the unit was defective( the activation switch for right handers was defective). I immediately called Crimson Trace, because I needed this unit for an upcoming function. As always, Crimson Trace Customer Service stood firmly behind their product. I received a replacemant CMR-201 via a 3 day Special UPS Delivery . The new unit arrrived yesterday. I installed and utilized the new unit on my Taurus Millenium Pro .45, my Ruger SR9C, and my Springfield XD Sub Compact .40. The laser was perfectly sighted right out of the box! I truly feel that Crimson Trace has hit a "Home Run" with this unit. Prior to this purchase, I owned six (6) Crimson Trace Lasers for various firearms. Each one of these lasers has proven to be a quality product. I would not consider concealed carry without a Crimson Trace Laser attached to my firearm. I am positive that Crimson Trace will sell a "Ton" of these new CMR-201 Universal Lasers. It is a quality product, which is produced in the United States of America!

switch turns on to easy
i have holsters that will fit, the problem is the activation of the switch is so easy that it comes on when the gun is holstered and stays on. there no click as with other lasers. the unit will turn off, than right back on again. I do have a holster that will work, but only one of 4. i do like the unit, it fits the beretta 96a1 nice and is easier to adjust the beam than say te "stingray".

H&K USP .40
The CMR-201 apparently won't fit the H&K USP Compact .40... but I need one. I certainly hope CT will make a model that works on it. There are many of us out here who have this model pistol. Thanks for all the other great CT products!
*Note from CTC Admin - We are currently monitoring fit solutions including specific USP adapters that will convert the proprietary USP rail into a Picatinny rail, making it compatible with the CMR-201. Thank you for your patience.

Buy this laser and the holsters will come
My brief experience with this CT sight on a duty Glock 21SF is excellent...dittos all around on the other rave review comments about the sight itself. I have enough faith in the marketplace to think that the planners at Bianchi, Fobus, Blackhawk! etc. read these ads and reviews, and are doing the numbers on what the market will be for a CT-guard-compatible holster. If you like the CT trigger guard sights, e-mail all the sight manufacturers and big suppliers like Midway and Cabela's. They do pay attention.

Just got mine
I Just picked mine up this Friday. Was easy to install. I put it on my FNH FNX-9. I like the fit & look. Took it out & shot today at 15 yds. Needed to bring it down qite a ways, really high, about 2 ft. But that is to be expected, since there are 4 different adapters for different guns. Lowered it & the results are great. I was as impressed as I was when I put a set of grips on my Kimber. Great accessory to have. It is also great to buy something that is made in Oregon & the USA. Since I am a naitve Oregonian I take pride that something like this is made here & it helps the economy too. Great product.

Just got mine
Just installed it on my FNH FNX-9. Good fit, easy to activate. Will find out how much more I will like it tomorrow. If it works as good as the grips on my Kimber. I have no compalints. It is also great that it is a made in USA in Wilsonville Oregon. Being a native Oregonian that is always a plus. The only holster it does not fit is my inside the pant. I guess I can live with out it. I have others.

Should rate the product ...not the lack of a holster
I use CT products on firearms that are used when I teach for the NRA. I have 7 of them, on various firearms, that are used during classes. I honestly feel that they are a great product, produced by people that care and it is made in the USA. Why not rate the product for what it is designed to do... NOT for the lack of any accessory, including holsters. Give the product an honest evaluation and rate it accordingly. To knock the product because of a lack of holster(s) is dishonest and does not help potential customers make a "laser" decision. I am ordering 2 of these today because I strongly feel that the product makes a positive difference.

holsters
wish Crimson Trace would also go into the holster business to speed up getting a duty holster to accomodate this item which is a very welcome addition to laser choices

Waiting to get one which I will soon do.
I have the Lasermax which I will put on my AR. I echo the above comment about no holster. Would love to have the crossbreed in a crossdraw configuration, but will have to wait for the holster industry to catch up. Love the gun as I have small hands, great for concealed carry and CT lasers sure help my old eyes (71 yrs.old) so come on crossbreed, Blackhawk or someone else with a reasonable priced holster.

WOW
Great small laser. I have attached to a Ruger P95 and was very easy to align. Have a custom holster being made at Black Hill Leather.
Wife loves for a Home Defense sight system.

Big perfomance. Small package.
This laser is super small, activates easily, and is very bright. I plan to use mine on a pistol for home defense. There are many custom leather holster makers that should be able to make a holster to fit should I want to carry it.

Nice
Just received it this afternoon, fit as per instructions on my gen 4 Glock 17. Very convenient switch, much better than my other rail lasers. Will try it at the range tomorrow.

Great compact laser for multiple railed firearms
I had a chance to play with a Rail Master over the weekend, and I will say this laser is above and beyond the comparable Lasermax Uni-Max in both activation switch, and size.
Activation: The Uni-Max uses a toggle switch that physically moves for laser activation, whereas the CT Rail Master has a non-movable push button-like activation that stays in the same location for on/off activation.
Size: The CT Rail Master is a little larger than the Uni-Max in height, but beats the Uni-Max in length. This important distinction keeps the apparent bulk of the CT Rail Master down and helps keep the sleek and snag free properties of pistols while wearing the laser.
Holsters: I removed one star for the Rail Master for lack of holster selection and ability to holster this firearm with a custom kydex holster. Most kydex holsters grip the trigger guard, and this laser would interfere with this operation. If looking for concealed carry with a laser, the CT Laser Guard is a better choice in my opinion due to the small activation nub that doesn't affect the firing grip, and a custom holster can be made for guns that do not have holsters made for them already.
