Best thing since Gaston Glock!
Just put a CTC LG-617 on my G22 and the thing is amazing! By far, the best accessory anyone can put on a tactical or defensive handgun.
Not hard to get used to using... your natural grip turns it on, and keeps it on, every time. It comes sighted in right out of the box for 50' like they say! I adjusted it for my preferred personal defense range (7 yards) in about five rounds, and it's been dead on with every round since! My G22 was my bedside weapon before the Crimson Trace, but now I'll put a set on my carry revolver as well.
When seconds count, and help is minutes away, you'll be glad you had Crimson Trace by your side!

lasergrip for mod.22
i don't why anyone would want the on switch anywhere else. because i feel that it is just where you need it,why would you want to try and fiddle around with a toggle switch or some other way to cut it on,because the way it is now, when it clears my holster by the time i am on target and ready to fire it's there waiting on me right where it should be. wish i had 1 for every glock i own,but hell i would have to take out a loan at the bank for that.

Toggle Switch Lacking
I have a Crimson Trace on my Gock 34. But, it has no toggle switch. When I want to use the postol without the lazer, I have to tape over the lazer. It is a pain.

2nd crimson and want more
There is nothing better to make you a confident shooter. Also much easier for beginners. I cant wait to order another one, once I save up a little money. You cant go wrong with crimson trace.

Shoot from the hip, literally!
At the range I have all the time in the world to get a perfect sight picture. In the world where targets shoot back and something less than a bullseye might mean a bystander gets hurt I'll take any advantage I can get. That's why I switched to a Glock 21, it's point and shoot instead of fumbling with a lever safety. The Crimson Trace takes care of the point part even if I can't get a sight picture- literallly shoot from the hip easy.
Now for the reason four stars and not five: This model has the switch for the laser on the grip back. That means no strap holsters, which eliminates my under the shoulder holster. The laser is mounted on the right hand side of the frame; this means my finger is always in the way (up on the frame) of the laser until my finger is on the trigger. Because it is outside of my Serpa holster and on the outside of my right hand carry it is the part that always bumps into things when I duty carry. Finally, the batteries are on the sides of the grip, left and right. This effectively makes the grip wider, increasing the circumference of the grip overall. This makes a noticeable difference when I remove (with great reluctance) my Crimson Trace to carry under the shoulder (that darned back strap on the button makes my shirt light up with a red dot) but it fits my hand like it did when I selected it at the gun shop.
These things I can tolerate because of the size and use of the pistol I chose to put this prodcuct on. Glock 21SF's are not for people with little hands, are not designed for concealed carry, and are designed to help you aim when you shoot, not when you point. That being said, if Crimson Trace wants to address these points with a newer model, I'd put it on my Christmas list.
As for the company, they quickly addressed the problem I had with a stripped wrench for adjusting my laser.
Once I had it zeroed it was dead on, and I think the next time I go to requalify I may just shoot from the hip, literally.

Glock 21SF and the Crimson Trace LG-617 were made for each other
Shooting the .45 ACP six or seven times would wear on anyone’s accuracy, but shooting 13 shots can be downright un-nerving. Toss in the stress of a confrontation and your very good accuracy at the range could turn into spray and pray. So when you put that little red dot on the target or an attacker you don’t have to worry about knowing where the shot will hit. The LG-617 gives new meaning to “lighting it up”!

Good backup!
I believe in backups. When at all possible, I don't just carry one but two handguns. I have tritium night sights installed on both of them -- and as a backup to the night sights, I have the CTC LG-617 installed on my Glock 22 pistols. Though I've never been in a real firefight, I have been through enough high-intensity tactical training to know that techniques can easily get lost in the heat of the moment. If for some reason I am having trouble focusing on getting my front sight on the BG or if I need to shoot from an unconventional position and am unable to bring the sights up to my eye level, I know I can count on the CTC LG-617 to help me put rounds on target.

5 years and running strong
I've had my LG-617 on my G17 for five years. I've changed batteries once. It's still working just as good as the first day I brought them home.
