Great for dry fire training also
I decided to get these grips for S&W Scantium 1911. I knew that I wanted to carry this gun so I thought that every advantage I could give myself, if the need ever arose, would be well worth it. Everybody knows how they help in low light conditions and how they are easy to adjust, but few people mention how they have likely paid for themselves in dry-fire practice. I, like most, don't get to shoot as much as I'd like. I have found myself useing the grips as a training aid during presintation from holster to target. You get instant feedback on your draw and if you cover something you didn't intend to.
Thanks for the great product.

None Better.
These are the best grips I have ever tried on a 1911. Very little to no hand grip deviation and very easy to quickly get into use. I highly recommend these for 1911's. Top shelf product.

Wonderful
I love this laser sight. It is on my husbands gun so I am very envious.
I can hardly wait to get my own. Makes me a much more accurate shooter during target practice.

Love this Laser site
This was out of the box the easiest thing I have ever installed, works great and all my friends want one now. My wife wants to get one for her S & W Model 60. Christmas is coming so.. I also like the batteries for life and it's nice to know there are companies that still treat the customer great..

Excellent product
This is an amazing product. Easy to place on weapon and is very easy to use. Withstands "hardball" rounds. I've fired several hundred rounds through my Colt and have never had any problems with the Lasergrips. I highly recommend this for your 1911.

Worth every penny!
I purchased these grips for my Colt Combat Commander, it was my first handgun and I've had it since the late 70's. The modifications I'd made over the years were better iron sights (a fixed three-dot setup,) and a beavertail grip safety. The original sights were just awful, even for my eyes in younger years. Even though the pistol is very familiar in my hands, insitnctive shooting in low-light conditions showed a need for improvement. After installing these grips I was pleasantly surprised over how much my accuracy improved in low light. I can still focus on the target and the red dot naturally finds the right spot for excellent hits, even during rapid shots. I'm planning on getting another set for my wife's house gun, a Smith & Wesson 686 with a 2.5" magna-ported barrel. Kudos to Crimson Trace and the gun makers adding these to their guns from the factory. I can't imagine having a pistol without them now. Some people think they're too expensive and consider cheaper alternatives but for my money, they're excellent quality and worth every penny!

1911
this was the best investment on a assessory for a gun you can buy, its easy to put on and ready aim fire and on what the laser on the bullet will hit. and my next gun will have the crimson trace laser lets just say all my gun's will have crimson trace lasers.
thanks for a great product...

Wonderful solution for low light encounters
The grips are mounted on a parkerized Springfield 1911. These arrive in a small black box, containing the grips, two batteries #2032, two grip shaped separators (goes between gun and grip), instructions, adjustment key, a cleaning "Q-tip" and some marketing material. It's packed well and sized such that parts would not fly around during transport.
Installation is a snap - unscrew old grips, put batteries in CT-grips, put separators on gun, put CT-grips on gun, fix screws.
Sighting is fast and easy. Choose your defensive distance (my take was 10 meter), use the key to ensure that laser dot sits spot on top of your sights. Done.
Shooting. After multiple range days with unholstering drills and shooting on the move, the lasers have held zero. During the day the laser (especially in bright sunlight) is not very evident. The grips shine in low light situations and during night shoots, as the laser gives an unmistakable point of aim and allows target acquisition even if the sights are next to useless.
Intimidation factor, as often stated here is unknown to me - I really hope I don't have to find out. Similarly, having a laser activated means that the other party does have a better target to aim at, something that leads me to cover/uncover the laser with my index-finger.
All in all an excellent solution.
