On January 20th, 2011, Predator Tactical raffled a one-of-a-kind Shrike 1911 pistol with proceeds from the raffle benefiting Marcus Lutrell's Lone Survivor Foundation.  Raffle tickets were sold online via the Predator Tactical website, at the Lone Survivor Foundation booth at SHOT Show in Las Vegas, and on location at the Warrior Appreciation Night event held in Las Vegas, NV.  Warrior Appreciation Night was made possible by Mark Quinn and his company, AIS.

Matt Burkett, director of Predator Tactical, presented the Lone Survivor Foundation with a check for $10,000.  Mark and Lisa Christianson of the Stars and Stripes Foundation added an additional $5000.  Individual attendees at the event added even more to the combined $17,000 raised.

The winner of the Predator Tactical Shrike pistol is Russ K. from Bonifay, Florida.  Russ is a shooter and game hunter, despite being paraplegic.

Russ not only won the Predator Tactical Shrike pistol, but a complete package of items donated by other vendors.  The range bag was filled with goodies such as:

Several celebrities attended the event to honor our veterans including country music singer Mark Wills, actors Michael Rooker and Steven Seagal, 12 of the contestants and 2 expert coaches, Vietnam War veteran and Medal of Honor recipient Jon R. Cavaiani delivered a spirited and emotional speech and discussed how we can best help returning veterans today.
