Crimson Trace Corporation, the leading brand of laser sights and tactical lighting products for firearms, announces that popular gunwriter Richard A. Mann will be autographing copies of his newly released book during the National Rifle Association’s Annual Meeting. Mann’s book—Handgun Training for Personal Protection—will see its initial release in the Crimson Trace booth (#2547) at the upcoming NRA event in Houston, Texas. He will autograph free copies of the 240-page book that covers numerous firearms self-defense and training topics.
“One of the reasons I wrote this book was to further educate those who carry a handgun for self defense on the benefits of a handgun mounted laser,” said Richard A. Mann, Handgun Training for Personal Protection author. “Buying and attaching a laser to your handgun is only the beginning. Learning how to use it and how it can help you stay alive are the next steps. My book is the first book about the defensive handgun that does both.”
Mann will be in the booth and signing copies of his book:
• Friday, May 3rd beginning at 3PM
• Saturday, May 4th beginning at 4PM
Pages in this new book also feature Crimson Trace products and other useful items to consider when owning firearms. Three chapters of the book focus on lasers and their advantageous use in self-defense situations. Hundreds of images and charts provide easy-to-understand graphic details on the topic being covered.
Additionally, Handgun Training for Personal Protection covers how to choose and use the best sights, lasers and ammunition. The book also provides insight into correct shooting stance, grip, dry firing practice and other pointers on handling and shooting firearms. The book is published by F&W Media and can be found at http://www.gundigeststore.com. Mann is a former police officer and serviceman who is a well-recognized firearms author. His written works regularly appear in numerous shooting and hunting magazines.
Crimson Trace’s booth (#2547) also features interactive product displays and test areas, a large screen with educational videos, and places to order Crimson Trace products at discounts during the event.
The NRA Annual Meeting will be held at the George R. Brown Convention Center on May 3-5 and is open Friday and Saturday from 9AM until 6PM and on Sunday from 10AM until 5PM.
