WIN A PISTOL EQUIPPED WITH CRIMSON TRACE’S NEW LIGHTGUARD™

Crimson Trace, industry leader and makers of patented Lasergrips® technology, today announced its sponsorship of a unique state at the Pro-Am 3 Gun competition, held at the Rockcastle Shooting Center, August 26-28, 2011 in Park City, KY.  In the side match sponsored by Crimson Trace, shooters will compete in one of Rockcastle's infamous caves, using the weapon-mounted Lightguard™ system to instinctively illuminate and engage targets in darkness that perfectly simulates the environment or which the Lightguard was created.

Match Director Jeff Cramblit worked with Iain Harrison, Media Relations Manager for Crimson Trace, to devise the challenging stage.  "Our new Lightguard platform was designed specifically to locate and identify targets in low light situations, so this is a great opportunity for shooters to get their hands on one in real life conditions.  We believe it will change the way handgun owners utilize lights," said Harrison.

Crimson Trace will loan each competitor a pistol and ammo to shoot the course of fire.  Shooters will have their choice of a Lightguard-equipped GLOCK 17, Smith & Wesson M&P or Springfield XDM, with the high shooter on each day being awarded the gun they shot with.  Each pistol will also come equipped with the company's award-winning and patented Lasergrips® instinctively activated laser sight system, making for an unbeatable low light combination.
