Crimson Trace Receives Coveted SHOT Business Award, “Company of the Year”

Wilsonville, OR —February 2, 2008:     Crimson Trace Corporation was honored in a special ceremony at this years SHOT Show, receiving the “Company of the Year Award” from the editor of SHOT Business Magazine, Slaton White.  The Company of the Year Award is presented to the leading company in the shooting sports industry based on community outreach, efforts to preserve our hunting and shooting heritage and protection of our firearm freedoms.

“Being a part of this great industry has been an honor that we at Crimson Trace do not take lightly,” says Lew Danielson, President of Crimson Trace. “When the community gives you the opportunity to be successful in the marketplace, it is only fair to give back to help keep the shooting industry healthy.”

Some activities that Crimson Trace is a part of include the fact that Crimson Trace is a co-founder of the Honored American Veterans Afield (HAVA) program. HAVA takes wounded and disabled combat veterans on hunting trips to help them transition back to society through participating in the shooting sports.  Crimson Trace has also donated over $100,000.00 to various NRA associations throughout the years.
