Proud Of Our Past and prepared for the future
Crimson Trace is a company founded by gun enthusiasts and engineers with a single mission - to develop a decisive firearm aiming device designed to help protect the lives of military, law enforcement and civilian shooters. Today the company is the decisive leader in its industry and is largely responsible for the widespread adoption and acceptance of laser sighting technologies and tactics.
"That little red dot seems to speak in a language that can be understood by just about anyone and it can be exceptionally persuasive," said Crimson Trace president, Lew Danielson. "We've received countless reports about how laser sights have helped end armed confrontations without a single shot being fired. Out of all feedback we get about our products, stories like this are always my favorite."
All Crimson Trace products are designed and manufactured at the company's headquarters in Wilsonville, Oregon. Each unit is hand-assembled, sighted and tested. Special consideration is given to durability and ergonomics. Crimson Trace products never interfere with the function of any firearm. The company released 9 new models in 2008, and currently manufactures more than 65 unique products. All Lasergrips are designed to fit a specific model handgun.
Crimson Trace fully supports the right of every law-abiding American citizen to own firearms. Every one of its more than 100 employees is a member of the National Rifle Association. The company provides substantial financial support to numerous NRA programs including firearms training and education.
The company is also a strong advocate for the military community. Crimson Trace along with Leupold, Surefire, Hornady, Yamaha and Smith & Wesson recently founded Honored American Veterans Afield (HAVA), an organization to help raise awareness and provide assistance for disabled veterans. HAVA also helps these veterans enjoy hunts, shooting events and other outdoor activities. For more information go to www.honoredveterans.org.
